MILLARD PUBLIC SCHOOLS - 2024

ED PARAS, SECRETARIES, CAMPUS SECURITY SUMMER SCHOOL POSITIONS

 

There are a variety of summer school programs being conducted within the Millard Public Schools system this coming summer.  Some support staff positions (paraprofessionals and campus security) will be available.  If you are interested in applying, please complete the on-line application by March 17, 2024.  The salary per hour for summer school will be a current employee’s normal hourly rate.  A new employee hired as a paraprofessional specifically for summer school will be paid $14.30 per hour. A new employee hired specifically for summer school in Campus Security will be paid $18.37 per hour.

 

Preference will be given to those who are currently working in the buildings that will have a summer school program along with past experience as a paraprofessional during summer school.

 

 

    

Summer Literacy And Math (SLAM)  Norris and Bryan Elementary / June 5 – July 11, 2024 / M-TH

Elementary STEAM Camp      Ezra Elementary / June 5 – June 27, 2024/ M-TH

Regular Middle School SS      Millard North Middle School / June 5– July 11, 2024/ M-TH

Regular High School SS          Millard West High School / June 5 – July 11, 2024/ M-F

 

Special Education Summer Preschool Transition Program    Sandoz Elementary 

June 17-20 and July 8-11 / M-TH

 

Note:

If you are employed for summer school, and planning to retire at the end of the 2023-2024 school year, Millard will report your last day worked at the conclusion of your summer school assignment in June or July (depending on sessions worked). This means your earliest retirement date is July (if you finish working in June) or August (if you finish working in July). Please contact Human Resources if you have any questions about working Summer School and starting your NPERS retirement benefit.
